All the staff is genuine and compassionate and from the beginning SLR stands out. They offer services I haven’t seen or heard of anywhere else in Illinois or even guest dosing out of state. It’s more homey and is a lot nicer than some of the other run down clinics I’ve been to. Although since ownership transferred from private under Dr Fahmy to public, there are very noticeable differences. I never saw them nag people for money like they do now before. Although this is a litte concerning, I do understand rehab’s are businesses that need to make money just like anything else. You’re going to get this with probably anyother clinic though. Only complaint would be wait time and communication between staff. Other clinics don’t seem to have a problem getting people in and out even if the line leads out the door. If you can get past this, I would definitely recommend giving it a try or switching from another nearby location to Soft Landing. Each counselor, nurse, support staff member, and doctor have touched my life in a way I could never repay them for. God bless each and every one of them.To me, this is a lot more important than being able to be in and out in 2 minutes. If you’re looking for a MAT program that has it all: medication, counsling, group therapy, a psychiatrist, and excellent staff members, you’re looking at the right place!
I've been here for four years. These people do want to help but seriously I have been to one other clinic and 2 guest dosing clinics where people were waiting in lines out the door and it still took every one of us no longer than 5 to 10 minutes pn a BAD/SLOW day. Even with the veteran nurses it can take a long time to get dose but with the newest nurse, Java you get there at 5am and you are almost every single day waiting upwards of an HOUR. I'm close to losing my job because of this and no matter how many complaints people make the waiting is so full you have to sit on the floor now. This is my only complaint and something seriously must be done or they should be coming in before 5am.
